Marketing Communications Management, S.F. Bay Area

Young, specialty pharmaceutical based on the S.F. peninsula is expanding and adding a MarCom Manager. They have one drug approved and on the market thru a partner, a second one with a targeted launch this coming October and a very interesting pipeline. Their second drug will be sold direct and they are finishing up hiring 165 direct reps for the October launch. As a part of this process, they have hired a new VP Sales and a new VP Marketing, and this MarCom Management position is part of that new team. Their unique technology is in their drug delivery system which facilitates long-lasting formulations of quickly-metabolized drugs.

We are seeking someone with at least 5 to 10 years experience in Marketing Communications and/or Marketing Operations in a fast paced, dynamic organization. A good depth of experience in pharma or a regulated med device is highly desired. Experience managing a small team would be a real plus.

HPLC Instrumenttion Sales Jobs (L.A. and East Bay/Sacramento)

We have 2 California field sales position, selling quality HPLC and chromatography instrumentation.

Territory 1 covers from the Pasadena area over to Santa Monica, up to Santa Barbara and up to Bakersfield. This is a primo territory that has always been a top territory on the west coast.

Territory 2 is the I-80 corridor from the East Bay out thru Sacramento to Reno, up thru the Central Valley and includes Oregon - but the rep needs to live near the I-80 corridor.

First yr earnings for either territory expected to be over $100k. The company has an excellent. uncapped commission plan, company car, all business travel and expenses paid, excellent benefits Pkg.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 to 5 yrs successful field sales experience selling HPLC or closely related products into the research, academic and / or industrial lab market.
  • Minimum of 2 yrs on the bench with hands on experience in HPLC
  • 4 yr degree in chemistry, chemical engineering or related scientific area
  • Must live within the boundaries of the territory
  • Must be a US citizen or perm resident/green card holder.

California based Sales of Analytical Chemistry Instruments & Consumables

Our client is a small but very well known manufacturer of analytical chemistry instrumentation and consumables used in protein separation in drug discovery. They have excellent name recognition and a long standing reputation for quality products. The territory covers CA, AZ and NV and the rep can be based in either the Bay Area or Southern Ca. Generous uncapped commission plan. Co Car, all expenses paid, etc.

Requirements:

  • A chemistry background
  • 2 (or more) years field sales experience selling protein chemistry or chromatography consumables or instruments
  • A 4 yr degree
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or perm resident/green card holder

West Coast Sales, CRO Genomic Services.

Our client is the Genomic Services division of one of the top International CRO's. They are seeking a polished, professional sales rep to sell genomic services to drug discovery and development customers in the western region. Major focus selling includes DNA/RNA sequencing, genotyping, DNA & mRNA analysis, microRNA analysis using Illumina, Applied Bio/Life Technologies TaqMan, Agilent and Affymetrix systems. Position will also cross sell other services including biomarkers, immunology and custom antibodies. Territory covers Seattle to San Diego plus mountain states. Candidates must live in either the Bay Area (preferred) or Southern California.

Requirements:

  • BS Biology, Chemistry or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Lab experience in molecular biology, genomics, immunology, antibodies, biomarkers
  • Five or more years of technical sales experience selling genomics products or services to drug discovery accounts
  • Account knowledge of drug discovery accounts in the territory
  • Consultative selling experience
  • Demonstrated success in sales with big ticket sales and long sales cycles
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or perm resident/green card holder
