Director of Support Services/Training

Newly created position responsible for managing the in-house applications group, in-house training and the pre- and post-sales support services for automated liquid handling and prep HPLC instrumentation. The position reports direct to a senior VP and will have a lot of authority in developing the support services infrastructure.

They are looking for someone with at least 8 to 10 years management of multifunctional support teams within a Laboratory capital equipment manufacturing and sales organization, a leader who has a track record in creating and maintaining a positive, cohesive work force. Experience in liquid handling / robotics / chromatography is a real plus but not a requirement. The position is located in the upper Midwest and relocation will be available.

Field Marketing Manager, Health Sciences (LC-MS IVD/Forensics/Tox)

Expansion position with one of the foremost manufacturers of HPLC and LCMS instruments to join their Health Sciences team. Position is both tactical and strategic, developing the yearly and long range business plans for the team, and then working with the filed based specialists to help them achieve the goals.

Must have a minimum 5 years of experience in lab based sales and marketing, and must have a good depth of mass spec experience in either the Forensics or Clinical Diagnostics markets. Must have the proven ability to develop and execute business plans. Travel up to 50% across the U.S. and Canada. The position is based in the Boston area.

Scientific Sales and Sales Support trainee positions - Microscale Thermophoresis - Boston and San Francisco

Entry level positions with a young technology company that develops and sells proprietary instruments that monitor and test molecular binding properties. We are looking for a young Ph.D level scientists to join their applications and sales team. The position are based in South San Francisco and Boston/Cambridge but will entail travel to customer labs and trade shows across the U.S. and once or twice a year to Germany.

We are looking for someone with a very strong scientific base who is curious, articulate, passionate about science and who has a very outgoing personality. Someone who is ready to take that step off the bench and into industry, working with a team of dedicated scientists and customers, focused onto molecular binding research.

Ph.D in Molecular Biology (first choice) Biochemistry, Biophysics or similar is required. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills in business English. Some customer facing experience would be very helpful, even if it was from a summer job. A valid passport and the ability to travel overnight on business as much as 50%, through out the U.S. and Canada. Must live within a reasonable commute to South San Francisco or Boston/Cambridge. There may be a modest relocation allowance available.

Laboratory Capital Equipment Sales Boston

Expansion Sales position covering the greater Boston area selling top notch lab equipment, both direct and thru distribution. This is an excellent company to work for. Minimal overnight travel, company car, excellent benefits pkg. Must have at least 5 years successful sales of lab capital equipment experience. Must have some experience with distribution, either selling for or selling thru a major lab distributor. We are looking for who has a real hunter mentality in terms of cold calling and creating new business but who has enough finesse to work with their distributors and create a sense of teamwork.

Analytical Chemistry Field Sales and Service Engineers
